Hi John,

If you’re scrambling to pull off some Halloween magic without a ton of effort, I want to share two fun and simple Halloween ideas to help you move gracefully through this spooky season.

You'll feel like a superstar, your child will have fun, and you don't have to go out of your way to gather special supplies to make creative memories this Halloween season.

First up: Organic Shape Monsters. Ages 3+. You'll need yarn, paper, and a marker. Doesn't get much easier than that!

This prompt is open-ended, giving your child room to invent and imagine.

Second: Toasted Pumpkin Seeds. Ages 2+. If you have plans to carve pumpkins and your child is a sensory-seeker: save, season, and bake the seeds.

My kids aren't fans of the flavor, but they sure love scooping out the guts, and the toasty seeds make the house smell great. Bonus: soak up the full benefit of this hyper-engaging sensory experience by getting kids involved in scooping and squishing the slippery seeds. This can be a full afternoon of fun.

There you have it, two really easy activities that will suck kids right in without too much effort on your part. That's the best kind of activity in my book.

If you'd like to explore more easy Autumn art creations with your family, the Autumn Art Exploration Packet ($7) is still available for a limited time.

Have a spook-tacular week πŸ¦‡ and talk to you soon!

Warmly,

Rachelle
