Hi Friends!

CleverHiker Headquarters is buzzing with excitement as the team starts making headway on trip plans for the year.

Dave and Annie are lining up family camping trips and van tours to share the outdoors with their little ones. They have a few backpacking trips on the agenda as well.

Casey and her partner head out for their 800-mile Arizona Trail thru-hike in just a few weeks! They're super excited to wake up in the desert.

Meanwhile, Heather is gearing up to hike the CDT through Glacier NP with thru-hiker friends and also plans to hit the Tahoe Rim Trail in late summer.

When we're not geeking out on maps and trip logistics, we're working hard to make our gear guides the very best they can be. We're adding new products to our test list, and scouring the market to make sure we're providing the absolute best recommendations to our readers.

As always, thanks for following, and make sure to hit us up on social media.

Osprey Exos Backpack
GEAR PICK OF THE WEEK

The Osprey Exos 48 (men’s) and Eja 48 (women’s) are some of the most comfortable lightweight backpacks on the market, and they’re a great all-around value.

The tensioned-mesh frame is sturdier than that of most lightweight packs and can carry heavier loads more comfortably.

The newest iteration of the Exos/Eja brought back the hipbelt pockets and includes an updated suspension system.

If comfort is your main priority, these packs are among the very best.

If you're looking for more space, check out the larger Exos 58 / Eja 58 size.

See how the Osprey Exos & Eja 48 stack up to the competition on our list of the Best Backpacking Backpacks.
