7          National ‘Keep America Beautiful Month’ Celebration    What can you do to keep America beautiful?  Learn how to help out with activities at 11AM and 2PM.

15        Museum After Dark (STEAM night)    Time: 5-7PM
Ages: 5-10     Cost: $8 member/$12 non-members
Registration deadline: April 8.    Event min. 20/max. 50 per night.
KIDS – join us for an exciting evening of science and the arts! This two hour event will introduce children to STEAM concepts while giving them time to explore the museum after-hours. It’s parents night out while we share science, technology, engineering, art & math with kids through fun, hands-on activities and experiments!  Final spring 2016 date:  May 20

22        Earth Day    Celebrate our earth and discover how you can participate in conservation to help everyone co-exist with our planet.

23-30 Money Smart Week    Gain some “money smarts” with games and activities throughout the week.  Visit kidscommons “Pet Shop” and adopt a pretend pet while learning about fiscal responsibility, needs vs. wants, and banking basics. Pet Sense is a game developed by Purdue Federal Credit Union that walks families through real-life spending and savings situations, while providing for the needs of a family pet.  Sponsored by Bartholomew County Financial Literacy Coalition.

Tuesdays @ 11:00 am and Fridays @ 1:30 pm, Little Explorers
Join us for special programs and fun activities geared toward preschool aged children, but everyone is welcome!

Wednesdays @ 3:30 pm, Art Time
Join our staff and create the special project of the week. All ages are welcome and the art activity will be available for all visitors to try until 4:30 pm.

Thursdays @ 3:30 pm, Wacky Science
Come learn about our world through a range of demonstrations and science experiments. Experiments are chosen one month in advance, so feel free to contact us for more information. Wacky Science is geared toward ages 5-12 but everyone is welcome.
