Happy April! Baseball fans have long been awaiting the beginning of the season, and these reads will continue to interest sports buffs in the months ahead. Neal Wyatt offers a helpful guide to spring cleaning for anyone unsure of where to start. It is also awards season, and we bring you the winners of the Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards and the nominees for the Audies and the Romance Writers of America’s RITA Awards. I was happy to hear that Matthew Desmond's Evicted, an LJ Best Book of 2016, won a PEN Literary Award last week. Of course, collection development is always in season. Prepub Alert Editor Barbara Hoffert offers a reading list on the countries affected by the travel ban, and spirituality and religion columnist Sandra Collins shares new and backlist books about Islam.
