The first kids have arrived and Spring tours start at the original Redwood Hill Farm Saturday, April 7th. At the tours, which run most weekends through early June, you'll not only get to spend time with the baby goats, but learn about beekeeping, hop growing, goat milking, and the farm's 50-year history as a model of sustainable agriculture in Sonoma County, CA. Afterwards, you are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in the orchard or shop the farm's market for seasonal honey, olive oil, free range eggs and more. |

| Spring Salad with Goat Milk Kefir Dressing |
|
I love this salad because it captures everything that's fresh and flavorful about spring in Sonoma County. Most people don't know that kefir makes a great base for tangy salad dressings. I like to use Meyer lemons, butter lettuce, and pea shoots directly from my garden. Watermelon radishes lend a radiant appearance to the salad, making it a treat to serve for guests. I hope you love it too!
