Springfield art community’s ‘outsider’ Manning dies of COVID-19
Sangamon County Treasurer Joe Aiello said he had already planned to bring some old art, including a painting of Abraham Lincoln created by Mike Manning, back to his office when he heard Wednesday that the Springfield artist had passed away from COVID-19 complications.
