The 13th Congressional District race for the U.S. House was seen as a key national race even before the COVID-19 pandemic, before people took to the streets over police-community relations, and before the president came under fire from past top aides and generals.
The campaign's communications director, Tim Murtaugh, said in a statement that "quarantine procedures" were immediately initiated and no staff member who tested positive would attend the event.
The ruling clears the path for a broader election-year readership and distribution of a memoir, due out Tuesday, that paints an unflattering portrait of President Donald Trump's foreign policy decision-making.
