Put pieces of pumpkin in ziploc bags and set them in various locations around the house.
Predict which environment will grow the most mold, then check each piece daily to record the changes and see how accurate your predictions were.
Challenge your kids to think about why the mold grew faster or slower on each piece and what they could change to maximize or minimize the amount of growth. |
