Dear Trader,

When you can’t control what’s happening, challenge yourself to control the way you respond to what’s happening. That’s where your power is.

Supporting our local businesses

Council’s St Albans Place Manager has commenced a program of telephoning businesses in the St Albans Town Centre to discuss the range of Coronavirus (COVID-19) business support programs and grants available and provide information and assistance.

Help stop the spread of COVID-19

Businesses are implementing many changes to help stop the spread of Coronavirus. To communicate these temporary business changes to your customers you can download a poster that can be displayed in your business. www.health.gov.au/resources/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-temporary-changes-poster-for-businesses

Embracing change in your business

COVID-19 is forcing us to think differently about the way we operate.

  • Have you thought about ways you can still do business with your customers?

  • Can you move to telephone orders and provide take away or delivery?

  • Can you use existing staff for deliveries as an alternative to Uber eats?

If you are a food business offering takeaway, pick-up or delivery options you can list your business on Broadsheet Live List and WeAreNowOpen to name a few.

Getting your business online and embracing social media more important than ever.

You can start by creating a simple website and social media accounts to let your customers know you’re still operating.  Refer to links below.
