Think. Shop. Buy Local Campaign
Council’s Think. Shop. Buy Local campaign encourages locals to support and stay connected to their local business community, and provides promotional opportunities for businesses in Brimbank.
Restrictions associated with COVID-19 are having a significant impact on local shops and businesses, and Council wants to support those businesses who are open.
Key initiatives include: • Establishment of the Think. Shop. Buy Local interactive map for businesses in Brimbank • A social media campaign encouraging residents to support local businesses • Promoting a list of operating businesses on Council’s Supporting Local Business webpage (https://www.brimbank.vic.gov.au/business-and-tourism/supporting-local-business) • Highlighting how local business is adapting to the coronavirus emergency on Council’s Local Business Stories webpage (https://www.brimbank.vic.gov.au/business-and-tourism/local-business-stories)
All businesses in Brimbank are welcome to have their business listed on the Think. Shop. Buy Local map (https://made.withalpaca.com/locale/brimbank-think-shop-buy-local/default), and if you’re offering take-away, delivery, online shopping, online fitness classes or virtual services during COVID-19, please let us know.
