St. Charbel Makhlouf was a Maronite monk from Lebanon. He was born on May 8, 1828, ordained a priest July 23, 1859, and died December 24, 1898. He was beatified Dec. 5, 1965 by His Holiness Paul VI and canonized Oct. 9, 1977. This chaplet to obtain graces comes packaged with instructions on how to pray it and a picture card of St. Charbel.
