Supreme Court ruled in favor of St. George's incorporation, the new city now demands sales tax revenue it believes it is owed from East Baton Rouge City-Parish. On Wednesday, the St. George Transition District passed a resolution authorizing the body's legal team to "take all necessary actions" to initiate and file lawsuits to order the city-parish to turn over the 2% sales tax revenue St. George believes it is owed. Pregame routine: LSU football will not change its pregame routine games this season, signaling that the team will not be present for the national anthem before matchups this year. Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry had requested last April that all athletes should be present for the national anthem prior to games. He also asked for all college boards, including LSU's, to implement a policy that would force athletes to be present for the anthem or risk their athletic scholarship.
