Starbucks to boost pay, relax dress code

Starbucks employees will see their pay raised at least 5% on Oct. 3, and the company will also double the stock awards eligible employees earn annually, giving some staffers a 15% boost in overall compensation. The chain will also make some unspecified changes to its dress code, CEO Howard Schultz said Monday in a memo.
