On Monday, March 29, 2022, NASA Administrator Bill Nelson spoke to the agency’s workforce during his second
State of NASA event at the NASA Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Nelson provided updates on NASA’s commercial space program and its deep space exploration program, including the recent rollout of the rocket for the Artemis I mission, climate change and more.
The NASA Astrobiology Program also took this opportunity to reflect on the state of astrobiology; from missions to Mars, to huge milestones of exoplanet discovery, and fieldwork in Greenland and beyond.
“The field of astrobiology is thriving and growing around the world, with NASA’s Astrobiology Program leading the way."
