Question of the Week | Tuesday we asked: An anonymous donor gifted $12 million to Worcester Polytechnic Institute, the second-largest sum of money donated to the school. The person is described as a regular donor and attendee of school reunions since his 20th. The figure is second only to Robert Foisie, who donated $40 million in 2014. | How often do you donate to your alma mater? | | I don't donate to any entity that practices fully tenured employment. Tuition was my donation to all of their bloated salaries, followed up by paying for 2 kids tuition at an even more inflated rate for even more bloated salaries for a staff so large that I believe they used every diminutive in the dictionary for all of the multiple titles. If they can't pay their expenses with the increases in tuition (bubble) then they need to do some seriously soul-searching. | See All Comments >> | |
