Not the long weekend we planned | |
Some of my friends have been pitching tents in their backyards this week.
It’s different from the usual camping holiday, but still provides a chance to look up at the night sky.
Wednesday’s “super pink Moon” was a special one, and as I discovered in ABC Science’s April sky guide, there are some other cool things to see this weekend.
My favourite history story this week was all about stars too – and how a Tahitian navigator used them to help Captain Cook on his journey across the Pacific.
For those who are celebrating Easter or Passover, I hope it’s a happy occasion for you and your loved ones.
