Dear Valued Reader,

"When a man is tired of growth, he's tired of life" -- I think that's a quote from someone famous, right?  No?

Well, growth is certainly what drives stock market lust most of the time -- but value stocks can certainly be more comforting, and they're often easier to buy, so we do keep our eyes peeled for those "values" as they arise.  And one that readers asked about over the weekend was a retailer, Hilary Kramer's "#1 Value stock for 2018".

But I've buried the lead here... this is actually one we've covered, so we greet the first moments of this new week with a rerun.  Miss that Kramer teaser reveal back in January?  You haven't missed much yet, so have no fear, just click below to...

We've also got the usual "catch up on the hype you missed" summary for you about the articles you might have missed here at Stock Gumshoe last week... but first, I shared a new piece of blatheration for you over the weekend.  Now that the Ides of March are past, I think it's finally time to start making those New Year's resolutions (you say I'm late, I say I'm a contrarian) ... just click here for our Three Stock Gumshoe Resolutions.

Is there going to be a "$1 million per share" stock?  We've been getting lots of questions about the "$200 to $1 million" stock teased by Matt McCall for his NexGen Investor... the ad sounds a lot like the genetic editing stocks that have been teased a bunch of times in the past six months, but it's clearly about a different stock.  What is it?  Thinkolator results here.

The latest ads for The Casey Report trumpet the importance of getting in now on gold, with March 31 cited as the deadline to get in before they see gold surging to $5,000 and then $10,000 because of a few specific catalysts.  So what are those catalysts, and do they drop any hints about the stocks they like to bet on those future gold prices?  Click here for our story.

Doc Gumshoe also popped in to share another piece for you this week -- this time, it's a big update on what's been happening with Pharmaceutical companies and their FDA approvals, that new article is here.

And the most-requested teaser solution for the week was about a Motley Fool pick -- they talked it up as a way to profit from the death of Cable TV, and as a stock that "looks a lot like facebook pre-IPO" ... answers, please?  Just ask the Thinkolator.

The week came to a close, alas, as they always do -- and the end of the week means a special article for the Irregulars in our Friday File.  This time, it's 5G and dividend temptation that has me doing a little buying, you can see the details here.
