WEEKEND UPDATE
February 16, 2019
Dear Valued Reader,

Miss anything in the world of Stock Gumshoe this week?  Have no fear, I'm here to catch you up...
The most-discussed article this week was our first one, in which we threw out some guesses on Monday about which marijuana stock Paul Mampilly would be recommending to his high-end subscribers on Wednesday.  I think one of my guesses turned out to be right, but it wasn't my first guess... if you missed that discussion you can just click below to...

Of the nearly 4,500 publicly traded stocks on the market today, in fact, no more than fifty of them deserve your time, attention, and money.

Of that small group, only eight are now trading at a price that makes them attractive to buy. In fact, I believe these are the only stocks worth your time and money.

These “Power Elite” stocks knock it out of the park year after year after year because they’ve tapped into the 3 most powerful forces in the global economy:

Addiction.  Necessity. And monopoly.

In other words, they sell products that people can’t stop buying. This free video explains why.

Ready for the "Second Coming of Netflix?"  That's the attention-getting promise from the Motley Fool that we looked at on Valentine's Day -- apparently Jeff Bezos has already poured  $970 million into this, and it's just getting started.  What's the actual story?  Thinkolator results right here.

And those "get your monthly checks!" pitches always seem to generate a lot of questions -- this time around the ad was from Mike Burnick for his Infinite Income service, and he's promising that you can secure "Medical Rebate Checks" ... so what's the story?  Our take (and the answers) here.

Looks like we'll be opening and closing this week with marijuana -- on Friday the Thinkolator turned to Jimmy Mengel's "Molecule of the Century"  pitch about a formulation that makes medical marijuana up to 80X more powerful... so what's the story with this, is it really "bigger than penicillin?"  We can at least get you some Thinkolator answers (and a ticker symbol) and get you started on your research, all you have to do is read my story here.

And speaking of Friday, my normal Friday File column for the Irregulars is delayed this week -- you'll get it on President's Day (that's Monday, when the markets are closed).  Thanks  for your patience!
