WEEKEND UPDATE
May 10, 2020
Dear Valued Reader,

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there in Gumshoeland -- I hope it's a happy one for you, and that you're far too busy being adored and feted to read up on the latest in stock teasers and hype... but for those who've still got money on the mind today, let's dig in and see what you might have missed in the week of Gumshoe.
We started out with the shiny yellow metal, since that's on the minds of many investors these days... and Mark Skousen got us intrigued with. his "under a buck" gold stock that he thinks could be a 10-bagger... so what was it?  Just click below to...

The destructive impact of the coronavirus has all but frozen commercial activity across the nation. Even as the pandemic recedes, we could see wave after wave of bankruptcies. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg… Unless you prepare now, everything you’ve worked for all your life could be lost forever.

Here’s how to protect yourself and prosper

I've been getting more and more questions about Louis Navellier's "Turbo Button" pitch about a little 5G "Smart Antenna," so I dug in to see if he's still talking up the same stock -- and whether things have changed with the coronavirus.  That story is here.

Doc Gumshoe joined us to look into some health hype, which is usually hinting at the latest and greatest supplements and borrows the same kind of marketing language as stock teasers... so what is the one being touted as the "one hour fix for memory loss?"  His piece is here.

I've been seeing lots of promos this week for The Wealth Warrior, and they all hinge on this idea that China has developed a "Death Star" laser that could destroy US satellites, submarines, 5G installations or whatever else... and that the US spending to counter this threat is growing fast, and, of course "one company can save us" and they can tell you that name once you subscribe -- Gumshoes crave answers, of course, so I threw the clues in the Thinkolator to see who this laser company is, answers here.

Finally, as usual, the week was wrapped up in the Friday File -- I actually had a number of transactions in the Real Money Portfolio to share this week, as well as some interesting quarterly updates from the 50 or so companies I follow closely... just click below if you missed that email...
