Stocks choppy as investors weigh impact from large hedge fund liquidation

U.S. stocks bounced around in early trading as investors weighed the impact of the liquidation of hedge fund Archegos Capital Management after several banks warned of “significant losses” tied to the firm. Credit Suisse tumbled over 13%, JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs also declined. Elsewhere, Boeing jumped after Southwest Airlines placed a fresh order for the 737 Max Jet.
