Stocks end lower, giving up earlier gains as Brexit vote fails and Turkey cease-fire expires

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 39 points, or 0.15 percent, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed lower by 0.36 percent and 0.72 percent, respectively.
