BitGo, a digital asset custody solutions provider, has introduced a new security solution to protect Ordinal inscriptions on the Bitcoin blockchain from accidental transfers and enable users to add their own content onto the blockchain.

Ordinal inscriptions allow people to inscribe text, images, and videos directly on the Bitcoin blockchain, but they are still a new technology, and most wallets cannot easily receive or store them, putting valuable inscriptions at risk.

BitGo's solution allows users to add inscription tracking to any Bitcoin hot wallet, freeze any transaction with an inscription to prevent loss, and safely send inscribed satoshis to an address of their choice.

Visa will become the exclusive global network partner for Fold's prepaid debit products in North America, Europe, and Latin American countries. The partnership aims to make Bitcoin more accessible and easy to use for everyone around the world.
