Storms in area, and at LSU French Department, too

Strong thunderstorms have rolled into western Louisiana and are on the way here. The National Weather Service asks that people be aware of what's coming, and be prepared to go to a safe place if and when conditions grow worse. I've got a story rolling here, and we'll have updates on the website throughout the day as the bad weather moves closer.


French protest

LSU students are upset that a French professor at the center of a controversy involving a former graduate student is in line to teach a senior-level course this fall. Andrea Gallo has the latest developments. LSU demoted the teacher last year after she was named in a lawsuit saying she ignored complaints about the grad student.


Seeing double, again and again

A Baton Rouge woman is set to deliver her third pair of twins. She will soon have six children in the house below the age of 2. Whew.
