According to Robert: Ads that are designed specifically to the Stories format are performing better – simply running your news feed ads, or cuts from your TVC assets, in Stories won’t bring you the best results. Also, Dietmar Rietsch, CEO of Pimcore, outlines six principles that make up an effective product information management (PIM) strategy and why it’s crucial to compete in the digital age. A successful PIM strategy is incomplete without the people, knowledge (about where the product information is housed) and resources required to implement PIM, says Dietmar. Also ICYMI: Advertising company WPP said its Wunderman Thompson unit had acquired Miami-based marketing technology consultancy XumaK, for an undisclosed sum. Nerdio, a startup that helps companies make the transition to Microsoft’s cloud-computing platform, Azure, announced that it had raised $8 million. Oracle announced the availability of the Oracle Cloud Data Science Platform, which makes it quick and easy for data science teams to collaboratively build and deploy powerful machine learning models. Leading US audio entertainment company, SiriusXM, has invested $75 million in SoundCloud, one of the world’s largest open audio platform. Rakuten launches Rakuten Advertising as a premier destination for brands to discover customers and engage audiences. |
