On the mat, strength and resilience may show up as the ability to hold poses for longer, practice more physically demanding variations, or even have the courage to pull back when rest would be more beneficial than a challenge. Off the mat, strength and resilience shine as the ability to respond rather than react, to see the positive in the seemingly negative, to rebound from difficulty, and to be content with what is.
