Team members will learn the why and how of how to review complex cases involving Patient Safety Indicators (PSI) and hospital-acquired infections (HAI), and leave with measurable strategies for improving their hospital profiles and positively influencing their facility’s value-based incentive payments.
Clinical Validation in CDI Boot Camp- The goal of this course is to enhance the CDI specialists’ and professional coder’s ability to more effectively apply clinical indicators in record review. The course promotes critical thinking while applying evidence-based clinical indicators and industry standards in the process of clinical validation and identifying query opportunities.
