Fire Burning in Apartment Building Under Construction in North Hollywood

A fire was burning Tuesday in a three-story apartment building under construction in North Hollywood. Firefighters were sent to the 11400 block of West Cumpston Street about 5:45 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The firefighters went into a defensive mode, working to prevent the fire from spreading to other structures.
