Good morning, Marketer, and it’s official.

Tomorrow is the day Google plans to sunset Universal Analytics, used by more than 28 million websites to track performance. On Saturday July 1, Google will automatically transition you to Google Analytics 4. And we’ll be marking that transition with a rare Saturday newsletter. (Note: there are also a number of GA4 alternatives reviewed here.)

In the meantime, take our flash poll about your GA4 readiness. Early results from respondents indicate that more than twice as many marketers are in the setting-up-and-learning phase than those who have GA4 up and ready to go. For many, it hasn’t been a pleasant experience. We’ll get through this together — yes, we’re sharing the experience too.
