The Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields named Colette Pierce Burnette as its next president and chief executive. The appointment comes a year after the institution's former president, Charles L. Venable, resigned after facing backlash for an offensive job posting.

AWARDS & ACCOLADES
Deana Lawson was awarded the £30,000 (~$37,400) Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize.
Felipe Romero Beltrán was named winner of the 2022 Aperture Portfolio Prize. He will receive a cash prize of $3,000.
The Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation's inaugural Awards in Craft went to Antonius-Tín Bui, Christine Lee, Jamie Okuma, Kristina Madsen, and Terrol Dew Johnson. Each will receive a $100,000 unrestricted grant.
