The primary reason for relocating was retirement, though jobs also drove moving decisions. S.C. adds 4,100 construction jobs in 12-month period Growth in Spartanburg and Columbia, two of 122 metro areas in the country to add industry jobs, contributed to 4% growth in South Carolina from November 2019 to November 2020.
