| Massachusetts church vandalized after removing LGBT flags | | Grace Community Church of Marblehead, Mass., was vandalized after the congregation removed LGBT pride flags that were posted on church property by a preschool that rents space at the church. Mike Richmond, an openly gay man who co-owns Pleasant Street Preschool with his partner, took to Instagram last Wednesday to complain about the removal of the flags. The church was vandalized with LGBT-themed graffiti a day later. Read more. | | Teen arrested for allegedly taking photos of boys at church camp | | A 19-year-old Oklahoma man was arrested for allegedly filming and photographing minors in the bathroom at the Kiamichi Baptist Assembly camp in Talihina. Kiamichi told CP that Luke Bartels is a recent high school graduate who came with his group as a camper and that they immediately called the sheriff when they were informed that he had taken pictures of male members of his group in their underwear. Read more. | | Historic California church hosts 'Drag Queen Bible Story Hour' | | For the first time in nearly 200 years, Calvary Presbyterian Church in San Francisco, Calif., held Sunday services that featured drag performers speaking to audiences that included young children. The church thanked God for the "gift of drag queens" during the "Drag Queen Bible Story Hour," which was hosted by LGBT advocate Rev. Jane Spahr and performers "Joann Fabrixxx" and "Flamy Grant." | A Southern Baptist pastor's wife responds to the 'women pastor' issue | | Tosha Lamdin Williams, the co-founder of Vanguard Church, weighs in on the Southern Baptist Convention's position on women in pastoral leadership and reflects on her own experience of being told she could not use her spiritual gifts because she is a woman. | FCA camps expect 100K attendees this summer | | The Fellowship of Christian Athletes expects to see record-breaking summer camp attendance this year, with as many as 100,000 expected to attend around 900 camps worldwide. Kellen Cox, executive vice president of ministry advancement, told CP he believes the growth in FCA camp involvement is happening "because God is doing unbelievable kingdom work and raising up more workers for the harvest."
