Good evening folks,

We've reached the end of another week (as far as this newsletter is concerned) and it's been another busy day of coronavirus news.

Nicola Sturgeon is 'hugely anxious' about the disruptive impact Covid-19 is having on young people from some of Scotland's most deprived communities.

The First Minister said at her briefing today: "I'll do everything I can - the government will do everything it can - to make sure you don't pay a long-term price for what you've lived through these last few months."

Police have dispersed 6,600 groups flouting lockdown restrictions in just one week, with officers taking action against rule-breakers nearly 50,000 times. You can read more here>>>

And an Edinburgh mum separated from her new-born twins at birth due to coronavirus risks has spoken about the 'painful' moment. Read Caitlin's brave account here>>>

If you have a minute, we'd appreciate your feedback on this newsletter: what you like / dislike, what you'd like to see more of, or any other comments / suggestions. Please send your thoughts to patrick.mcpartlin@jpimedia.co.uk

Take care, and have a safe weekend
