Good morning, What a weekend in tennis. The Queen sent new US Open champion Emma Raducanu a message of congratulations and hailed her "remarkable achievement" after she became Great Britain's first female grand slam winner in 44 years. Ms Raducanu wasn't the only history maker. Scotsman Gordon Reid claimed victory in the men’s wheelchair doubles event with partner Alfie Hewett. The pair became the first men to win all four slam doubles titles in the same year following victory over Gustavo Fernandez and Shingo Kunieda at Flushing Meadows. In news, the constitutional question is once again at the top of the political agenda. Nicola Sturgeon is set to warn Westminster that democracy “must prevail” over a second independence referendum. Her calls follow Humza Yousaf claiming the UK Government was prepared to "sell out" the NHS to strike Brexit trade deals. The First Minister is expected to say: "As an independent country, co-operation between Scotland and our friends across the rest of the UK will continue, but it will be on a better basis: Scotland will be an equal partner."
