Laser focus

We've had a restock of spectacular lasercuts from Pippa Dyrlaga. These are recreations of her original hand cut artworks, making them just a beautiful but at a more accessible price point.

Pippa is a paper artist based in Yorkshire who uses traditional techniques to create her contemporary artworks. Inspired by the natural world, and the things she encounters around her, the simplicity of a blank sheet of paper appeals to Pippa.

Her paper cut works are hand cut from a single sheet of paper. They are first drawn out by hand on the reverse of the paper, and then cut using a scalpel. They can take hours to complete, and she finds the process is as important to her as the finished pieces.

Feels like summer!

Is that the British summer, finally here? It certainly feels like it.

It's a joy to see the sunshine down on Brighton beach, but we've always got some sunshine in the gallery, even on gloomy days.
