Lot 45: A platinum single stone diamond ring, the emerald cut diamond claw set to pierced shoulders, estimated weight 4.04cts Sold for £16,000 With much excitement and pre-sale interest leading up to the day, it was no surprise that the Summer Auction was a roaring success! Clients were able to bid in the saleroom again and so with many bidding battles involving four or more competing bidders, it felt like how auctions used to be (mask wearing & social distancing were in place of course) The most popular lots of the day came from the jewellery section which took eight of the top ten spots. The other two places were won by the Watches & Asian Art departments. It was a thrilling sale throughout with a high selling rate across all departments. |
