Deerspring Pool's main pool will be closed 7/12-7/14
for the COHO Swim Classic. Closure will begin Friday afternoon after adult lap swim, the Sprayground and Kiddie Pool will stay open. Please visit Mitchell Pool during the closure. |

Bring your raft, inner tube or noodle and watch a movie on the big screen from the pool! Swimming begins at 7:30 pm. Movie begins at dusk.
Admission is $3 per person. Pool passes will not be accepted for entry. June 29 - Deerspring Pool

Safety Town

In Safety Town, children will gain an awareness of safety measures under the guidance of our experienced instructors, along with our own police and fire department representatives. They are trained to distinguish between what is safe and unsafe, and will learn what to do when danger exists. Topics include street, bus, playground and house safety; field trip safety; railroad and animal dangers; poisons; strangers; fire safety and how to use the telephone in an emergency.
Note: if your child has taken a summer safety town or a seasonal session, please do NOT sign up for this session as the material is repetitive.

Deerfield Park District Preschool is a developmental program designed so that children learn to play and play to learn. We believe that through play and problem solving, children learn the basic skills necessary to achieve – socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically, and creatively.
We have openings in our Little Learners (3 years old by March 1, 2020) and our 3 Year Olds (3 years old by September 1, 2019) programs. |

Coming on July 18 from 5 - 8:30 pm, a fabulous fifties theme-dinner and dance, Shake, Rattle and Mix! Put on your blue suede shoes and get ready to twist the night away as David Shamrock and his nostalgic band, The Rockin’ Fenderskirts, take to the stage! Enjoy jukebox hits from all the greats including Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis! Members and guests will enjoy a pre-dinner reception followed by a retro diner-style buffet. | Save the Date: Walk, Ride and Roll is August 25!
Choose your healthy mode of transportation and hike, bike or roll over to Jaycee, Mitchell, Deerspring, Maplewood and Jewett Parks from 1:30 - 3:30 pm to try out some fun recreation activities and get your passport marked at each park you visit. Please register for this free event and indicate shirt sizes for your family. Every participant must be signed up. |
