Volunteers Needed for Bee Keeping

This spring the Deerfield Park District will begin a Beekeeping program. We are looking for 2-3 knowledgeable and experienced volunteers to manage our hives. All equipment will be provided.

Deerfield Golf Club Fish Fry

Serving up your favorite fried fish with a side of fries and lemon wedges. Head over to the golf course to dine in-person with a mandatory reservation or order ahead for pickup!

Deerfield Park District has partnered with Trex Building supply to help recycle plastic film and bags that are not recycled by Waste Management (grocery bags, Ziplocs, bread bags, water bottle overwrap, etc.).

There is a collection bin inside the downstairs foyer at the Jewett Park Community Center for clean, dry film/plastic.

Remote Enrichment Care (R.E.C.) 2.0
 
The Deerfield Park District understands that working parents need care for their student children. This program is intended for self-directed learners. R.E.C. staff will supervise students while they work remotely on their schoolwork in accordance with the remote learning schedule.

Preschool 2021-2022 School Year

Little Ballers Clinic

Our basketball clinic will help the beginner and advanced basketball player. Each week will cater to a different fundamental skill. These skills include Shooting, Dribbling, Passing, Rebounding and Defense.

 
Virtual Rocket League

Rocket League is a family-friendly game where you play soccer as cars. Players aim to score the most goals within the time limit. Rocket League is an easy game to pick up, you can learn the basics and controls within two minutes of playing. Within 10 minutes of starting, you’re able to compete. The more you play, the more you improve and understand the controls. Rocket League is rated E for everyone.

 
Fortnite League

Fortnite is a survival game where 100 players fight against each other in player versus player combat to be the last one standing. It is a fast-paced, action-packed game, not unlike The Hunger Games, where strategic thinking is a must in order to survive.

 
Super Smash Bros. League

Super Smash Bros.  is a series of crossover fighting video games published by Nintendo and primarily features characters from various Nintendo franchises.

 
After School Club
 
The Deerfield Park District After School Club is for boys and girls from kindergarten through fifth grade currently attending in-person learning in the afternoon at a District 109 Elementary School.

Masks are required for staff and participants for the duration of the program, except during snack (not provided). All safety guidelines outlined by the CDC, DCEO and IDPH will be followed. Dates: March 29, 2021 – Last Full Day of School (Dist. 109) Times: Dismissal – 6pm.
 
Before School Program
 
The Deerfield Park District is excited to offer a Before School Program for boys and girls from kindergarten through fifth grade in District 109 schools.

The Before School Program for the 2020-2021 school year will begin on Monday, March 29 and will run through the last full day of school.
