Hey, 

Way back in my early 30s... 

After having two back-to-back anxiety attacks that put me in the ER. 

I hit my breaking point. 

Even though I'd just built my first million-dollar online business and was making more money than ever before...

...I woke up each morning feeling like I was a few breaths away from a complete breakdown. 

Between my drinking, erratic sleep schedule, 12+ hour work days, and other bad habits... 

... I was running myself into the ground FAST. 

And so, I turned to my "super rich" mentor Mark Ford for advice. 

But the advice he gave me was nothing like I'd expected. 

I thought he would give me some motivational pep talk or help me fix the systems in my business or quote some Stoic philosopher to help me fix my mindset. 

But instead... 

He told me in his thick Long Island accent, "Your morning routing is all WRONG!" 

"You need to go back to your farm boy roots, wake up, and get to work on your most important priority...

...And don't even get me STARTED on how much time you're wasting writing out your to-do list in the morning or watching stupid motivational videos.

NONE of the success people you admire do that" 

To be honest... 

This wasn't the first time he'd given me this advice. 

He'd told me the same thing probably a dozen times before. 

But this was the first time I paid attention to it. 

I decided I was going to fix my morning routine and get my life back on track, no matter what.

It started with a few small changes... 

Specifically, I decided to start waking up at the same time every day no matter what time I went to bed. 

I threw out my old morning routine of working out, reading, and meditating... 

...And instead woke up, went for a short walk with my old pup Bally, and immediately got to work eating whatever "frog" was on my calendar that day. 

In less than a month... 

My anxiety disappeared. 

My business was making more money. 

And I even had more time to spend with my family and friends. 

Like I always say... 

"Success is simple, once you accept how hard it is." 

I have so many new clients who come to me expecting "advanced" strategies, tactics, and growth hacks...

...And they're always surprised whenever my first step as their coach is to help them fix their morning routine, their weekly planning, and accountability systems. 

Sometimes, they'll even complain that what I'm sharing with them is "too simple." 

And they're right...

If you're a high-performer who's familiar with the personal development space... 

These habits ARE common sense. 

...But that doesn't make them common practice. 

And even though I've got plenty of advanced strategies and "weird tricks" to share with the clients who are ready for them... 

Until you have the right FOUNDATIONS in place... 

...None of the advanced stuff matters. 

The lesson here is this... 

Success isn't complicated. 

It's about doing the proven, simple things consistently. 

You can spend hours reading about split tests, biohacks, psychological tricks, and advanced retargeting until your eyes bleed... 

But if you aren't building on the right foundation of simple habits and systems, you'll continue to "struckle" and stay stuck in the mud for years. 

Focus on the foundations. Concentrate on what counts. And keep it simple.

THAT is the only "growth hack" you need.
