FDA pilot kratom study finds botanical ‘well tolerated’ — research

Preliminary USDA data assessing the abuse potential of kratom suggests the botanical — at least in leaf form — is well tolerated. Release of the research “provides the opportunity for the FDA to reset its long-standing war on kratom,” said Mac Haddow, senior fellow on public policy with the American Kratom Association (AKA).
