Could you help support a fellow business with their growth plans?

The Help to Grow: Management Course aims to support small business leaders to participate in a practical management training programme and receive 1:1 mentoring from an experienced volunteer mentor.

A mentor can be anyone with five years' experience working in a small business at a senior level or equivalent experience working closely with small businesses. The time commitment for a mentor is 10 hours over 12 weeks.

Why should you become a volunteer mentor?

Mentors can benefit from great opportunities for personal and professional development, including:

  • access to fully-funded Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Executive Coaching and Mentoring training up to Level 7
  • access to qualified content, peer support and networking with other mentors
  • develop new skills and experience by being exposed to different business cultures and challenges
