Concord Monitor & Report for America
Support our Education Reporting
The first $10,000 donated will be matched by national nonprofit Report for America

Since the start of the pandemic, Monitor education reporter Eileen O’Grady has been out in the community, updating you on mask ordinances and school regulations, speaking with teachers, parents and students, and delving deep into the challenges we couldn’t have imagined before 2020. She’s also shined a light on the fight for equity in the classroom, through revamped racial policies and how we fund our public schools. And Eileen continues to be at the forefront of our reporting on allegations of sexual abuse in our schools. In her time at the Monitor, Eileen has written about 300 articles.

For the second year, the Concord Monitor has received financial support so we can bring education reporting to our readers. We’d like to thank the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation and Report for America for their support and their confidence in the work we do. But we’re not all the way there yet. With your help, we’d like to raise the final $10,000. All money raised will go directly to salary and benefits for the Monitor’s education reporter through the summer of 2022.

The Monitor remains committed to the principles of truth, democracy and trust. We deeply appreciate any support to help us sustain our education reporting.
