District 6, currently represented by Republican Garret Graves, has been reconfigured to make it the state's second majority Black congressional district. That's a lot of candle power. A collision early Sunday involving four 18-wheelers and a passenger car resulted in the scattering of 40,000 pounds of candles on Interstate 10 near Port Allen. Traffic was diverted to Lobdell Highway after the westbound lanes were closed for some 10 hours Sunday.
