The British Business Group Vietnam “BBGV” is conducting a survey on pollution and we would like to request your participation. 
 
WHO estimates that approximately seven million people die a year from exposure to fine particles in polluted air that penetrate deep into the lungs and cardiovascular, causing diseases including stroke, heart disease, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases and respiratory infections, including pneumonia. Air pollution levels remain dangerously high in many regions of the world, including Vietnam.
 
Environmental hazards can cause imbalances in the ecosystem, adversely impacting the environment as well as the economy and, above all else, people’s health and well-being.
 
We understand that rising pollution levels negatively impact business and the economy. Employee’s health and productivity are adversely affected, and there may be a growing propensity for senior executive personnel and talent to leave the market as a result of health impacts to themselves and family. It may also deter some foreign investors from pursuing business opportunities in the market.
 
In view of this shared concern, BBGV takes the initiative to conduct a survey on the impacts of pollution to business. BBGV in partnership with other Business Chambers will jointly address this issue in a collaborative spirit, particularly since it’s a common interest in which we all share.
 
We would like to request your participation in this survey.  This is aimed to share our learnings with the Vietnam Government so that they can make good use of the information.
