Today’s Recruitment & Retention story hit home with me. I was definitely among the people who started baking up a storm over the past year, as pandemic lockdowns kept us at home. My thing: sourdough. Sourdough bread, sourdough coffee cake, sourdough scones. My kitchen cupboards quickly became crowded with bags of King Arthur flour -- whole wheat, all purpose and bread -- and jars of starter lined my refrigerator shelves. The kitchen never smelled better.

So thank you to the myriad employees at General Mills, King Arthur Baking Company and others who kept working so I could keep baking. It was a terrific stress reliever.

Make it a great week, all! Send this link to anyone you think would benefit from receiving this brief.
