It's warming up - it must be Kambarang!

As we enter Kambarang (October and November), the Nyungar second spring, we start to see warmer days and longer dry spells. The season ushers in movement, awakening creatures like the Nornt (Western Tiger Snake) and witnessing fledgling birds taking their first flights into independence, while Koolbardis (Magpies) intensify their protective instincts over nests and chicks. The landscape becomes a canvas of vibrant hues, with persistent yellows of Acacias, blossoming Banksias, delicate Kangaroo Paw and Orchids, and the emerging Balgas, especially those rejuvenated by fire or close pruning.
