School closure meeting: The rubber meets the road tonight for the Jefferson Parish School Board, as parents for the first time will get to publicly sound off about a massive school closure/consolidation proposal. Getting raises: About a thousand workers at the Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Center and Morial Convention Center will be getting raises. The union that reps them has hammered out a new agreement with Sodexo Live, the company that employs workers at the venues, Tony McAuley reports.
