Adam Peaty won’t be going to the 2024 World Championships in Doha and believes the meet will be poorly attended weeks before the Olympic Trials season gets under way.

There has been growing criticism of FINA’s decision to stage the 2024 Worlds from 2-18 February and to also make it a relay qualification meet for the Paris Games to be held from July that year.

Commonwealth Games: James Guy To Adam Peaty: Your Performance Does Not Define Who You Are

James Guy urged Adam Peaty not to let his results as a swimmer define him after the double Olympic champion finished outside the medals in the 100m breaststroke at the Commonwealth Games.

Commonwealth Games: Australian Women Dominate 400 Medley Relay to Cap Off Dominant Week

In almost every swimming event this week at the Commonwealth Games, the Australian women were simply too strong for every other nation. The Aussies won gold in 12 out of 19 events in Birmingham, England, including a sweep of all five freestyle events where only one podium finisher out of 14 was a non-Australian and a sweep of the three women’s relays. U.S. Nationals: Katie Ledecky Surges Ahead of Leah Smith for 400 IM Victory, Swims Personal-Best Time (VIDEO)
