NATIONAL: For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation (FPS) is hosting its first virtual experience March 25 at 7:00 p.m. The nonprofit organization helps adult cancer patients and their families create unforgettable, lasting memories, and the event aims to honor the emotional and psychological impact cancer has on families. DALLAS/FORT WORTH: The Dallas Renaissance Addison Hotel has completed its multimillion-dollar renovation and is now operating at 100% capacity with face masks, social distancing and other safety measures in place, regardless of state guidelines. The makeover unveiled more than 100,000 square feet of meeting and event space for up to 700 guests, with 37 flexible boardrooms and ballrooms plus 528 transformed guest rooms. MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: The University of Pennsylvania Wharton Alumni Club of South Florida is partnering with MLE Law and SportsEpreneur to host a virtual panel, titled Inside the Business of the NFL on March 25 from 7:30-9:00 p.m. Former NFL general manager Michael Lombardi and VaynerSports co-CEO AJ Vaynerchuk will discuss how lessons from the NFL can apply to the modern business world. The event is free to Wharton Alumni Club Members and $45 for nonmembers. ORLANDO/CENTRAL FLORIDA: The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts is hosting a live, theatrical concert featuring Broadway stars performing Disney hits, dubbed “The Music of Disney on Broadway.” Three performances will take place between March 20-21 as part of the Dr. Phillips Center’s Frontyard Festival. Tickets start at $25. SARATOGA, WYO: Brush Creek Luxury Ranch has announced that Catherine West will be rejoining the team as event director. West previously served as the ranch’s event manager but will now oversee operations for the collection’s three ranches: The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek, the French Creek Sportsmen’s Club and The Farm at Brush Creek.
