NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said she wants half the state's adult population — about 6 million people — to have been inoculated by the end of the month. She flagged some lockdown restrictions in Greater Sydney and its surrounds may be eased if NSW reaches that target. However an epidemiologist says this will make little difference to easing lockdown restrictions. |

Community Care Kitchen (CCK) has set up a COVID relief hotline, offering food and other essential services to help people in tough situations. Without any grants or sponsorship, the female-run group of more than 20 women has been relying on donations from the community. Online volunteer food relief groups like CCK have grown in size throughout the pandemic with hundreds of families in lockdown seeking help from community organisations. |
