The founders of Instagram, which was bought by Facebook in 2012 for US$1 billion, have decided to leave the parent company, becoming the second prominent resignation from the company in recent times.

The American security firm Symantec says it has blocked nearly a quarter of a million attempts at what it calls "formjacking" — use of malicious JavaScript to steal credit card details and other information from payment forms on the checkout Web pages of e-commerce sites — since mid-August.

Mutual financial company Australian Military Bank, which provides financial services to defence force personnel and their families, has gone live with the Infosys Finacle banking solution to drive its digital transformation program.

Non-bank contactless/cardless mobile payment systems are now being used by more Australians than bank-owned solutions, with fintech market entrants like Apple Pay, Android Pay and Google Wallet taking market share from incumbents, according to a newly released report.
